These are my favourite meatballs – super healthy and delicious!!

What you need

  • 500g beef or lamb mince
  • 1 – 2 onions (diced & sautéed)
  • 2 –3 cloves garlic (diced)
  • 1 pinch Sally-Ann Creed® Organic Mixed Herbs (or Italian seasoning, or from your garden)
  • 1 free-range egg
  • 1/4 – 1/2 cup Sally-Ann Creed® Almond Flour (just see how you feel)
  • Sally-Ann Creed® Himalayan Salt & Black Pepper
  • 2 Tbsp tomato / chilli sauce (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp Sally-Ann Creed® Organic Coconut Oil
  • Loads of chopped parsley

Let's cook

  1. Finely chop up your onions and sauté in a pan with coconut oil.
  2. Combine all ingredients in a big bowl
  3. Form into balls. (Using your hands is best if you want to get everything mixed well, but avoid over-mixing as this will make the meat tough)
  4. Sautée in a pan with coconut oil and a little butter – utterly divine!
  5. Serve with cauliflower rice, veggies, and a nice creamy sauce, or make a gravy from the leftover fat
