Honeybush tea is a herbal tea known and loved in South Africa. It is often compared to Rooibos tea, with Honeybush having a deliciously floral, lightly roasted flavour – very similar to honey – and is slightly sweeter tasting than Rooibos. It is known to grow mostly in the mountainous, coastal regions of South Africa, and has been used for centuries for its wonderful medicinal properties, and is quickly growing in popularity in the international markets. Our Sally-Ann Creed® Honeybush Collagen Capsules have been enhanced with the benefits of our famous type 1 and type 3 Pure Hydrolysed Collagen. Honeybush is high in antioxidants, particularly flavones, isoflavones, coumestans, luteolin, 4-hydroxycinnamic acid, polyphenols and xanthones. These antioxidants possess natural anti-inflammatory properties and have been shown to assist in lowering blood lipid levels and regulating blood sugar levels, which is great for diabetics. The presence of mangiferin and hesperidin make honeybush tea a great bone support – mangiferin has been shown to inhibit the formation of osteoclasts, which break down bone tissue, while hesperidin promotes the formation and maintenance of osteoblasts, which are new bone cells. Further to this, honeybush tea comprises of isoflavones and coumestans, both of which are classified as phytoestrogens which are widely used to naturally treat menopausal symptoms.

Capsules, including the lid are 100% recyclable (Aluminum #41). Empty out capsule contents, rinse and throw in your designated recycling bin
