Cashew Nuts 250g

The cashew tree is a tropical evergreen tree that produces seeds within a cashew ‘apples’. The seed is what is commonly known as a snack item, the cashew nut. Cashew nuts are known to be lower in fat content than most nuts and roughly 75% of their unsaturated fat content is from oleic acid, which is the same heart-healthy monounsaturated fat found in olive oil. Studies have shown that oleic acid is good for promoting cardiovascular health. In addition to this, cashews are a good source of copper, magnesium, zinc and biotin. Our Sally-Ann Creed® Cashew Nuts are derived from cashew nut kernels, which are peeled, roasted and shelled. They are a delicious on the go snack packed with goodness, just as nature intended.
