Arrowroot is a starchy vegetable similar to that of sweet potato and yams. It is most commonly sold in powder form for use in the kitchen as a wheat flour substitute or thickening agent. Arrowroot is easier to digest than regular flours, and therefore great for those who may suffer from digestive issues.
Ingredients: Organic arrowroot tubers
Allergens: Packed in a factory that handles nuts and oats (gluten)
Instructions for use:
As a thickener, use as a 1-for-1 replacement for cornstarch. Use 1 TBSP arrowroot to thicken 1 cup liquid. Mix with a small amount of cold water before adding to hot liquid
As an egg replacement, mix together 1 TBSP arrowroot with 1 TBSP olive oil and ¼ cup water
