Due to the unbelievable response to our limited edition collagen chocolate, we made it our mission to locate Sally-Ann’s original chocolatier to reproduce her wonderful chocolate recipe – with the added benefit of our Pure Hydrolysed Collagen! This decadently crafted 60% dark chocolate treat is enhanced with 9g of our famous Pure Hydrolysed Collagen, per 80g bar. With no added sugar, it will satisfy your sweet cravings while supplying you with your daily dose of collagen. The chocolate has been sourced from Belgium, and handmade in the Western Cape per Sally-Ann’s original recipe – delivering a slightly textured, naturally creamy bar filled with goodness.

Our Sally-Ann Creed® 60% Dark Chocolate with Collagen is sweetened using maltitol. This is a low calorie, low carb sweetener suitable for those following a low carbohydrate diet, suffering from diabetes or insulin resistance.

As Sally-Ann so wisely said:
“I know – maltitol is not perfect, but it is safe for diabetics and SO MUCH safer than the dangerous artificial sweeteners and chemicals usually added to diabetic chocolate. So let’s look at the pros and cons of maltitol:

Pros
– Safe for everyone to consume
– No sugar in the chocolates
– You’d never know there was no sugar present – delicious taste
– Adds sweetness without the calories or sugar
– Does not promote tooth decay the way sugar does

Cons
– Eating too much may result in diarrhea, but you have to have quite a lot of maltitol for this to happen. (I find many of my clients use this DELICIOUS method as a mild laxative to ease stubborn constipation. Ever heard of the chocolate laxative called Brooklax? Well this could be used as the delicious version!)
– There are still carbs present but much less than regular chocolate”
