More product information

What makes MCT oil special is its chemical make-up and how it is processed by the body. When digested, MCTs are absorbed straight into the gut, sent into the bloodstream, moving directly to the liver. This is much more efficient than how long-chain tryglyceriseds (LCTs), such as olive oil or avocados, are processed. Once in the liver, MCTs are converted into ketones and either used instantly for energy or stored in the liver for later use. Once MCTs become ketones, they can then be distributed throughout the body, to your brain, heart, kidney and muscles.
Ketones are created when your body converts fat into energy during a process called ketosis. This process boosts your body’s ability to burn fat, which is why it is a popular choice for weight management.
Whether you choose oil or powder, sticking with high-quality MCT supplements is vital. Low-quality MCT supplements have unhealthy fillers, poor-quality MCTs, impurities, and other problems that you’re better off avoiding.
