Garlic & Artichoke Dip

Rich in healthy fats with heart-healthy oils that provide energy and satiety for our bodies. Artichoke hearts are naturally high in fibre, which supports digestion and gut health. They also contain antioxidants (cynarin and silymarin), that promote liver health. Garlic, one of our favourite additions, not only enhances flavour but also contains allicin which supports heart health, anti-inflammatory and protects our cells from oxidative damage as well as being anti-microbial and anti-fungal. This is a little pricey, but it’s one of the most delicious dips you’ll ever taste—we love it! Perfect with our seed crackers

What you need

  • 250g full-fat cream cheese
  • 200g homemade mayonnaise
  • 1 can artichoke hearts
  • 100g parmesan
  • 2-3 crushed garlic cloves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Let's cook

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C degrees
  2. Drain from liquid and gently break the artichokes up into small pieces.
  3. Add the artichokes to a bowl with salt, pepper and crushed garlic.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the mayonnaise and ¾ of the parmesan cheese then add in the artichokes.
  5. Mix all together and place in an oven-proof dish and top with the remaining parmesan cheese. Bake for 20 minutes and then grill for another few minutes until brown and crisp in ontop.
  6. Serve warm as a dip with crackers of your choice
  7. Enjoy!
