Cellulite

When it comes to cellulite it helps to be male – only 10% of men have cellulite compared to >85% of women. Life’s not fair.  The reason is the connective tissue in men’s thighs. Men have a criss-cross structure whereas women’s tends to be more linear. Imagine a chicken-wire fence compared to a picket fence.  Men have the chicken-wire kind of fat cells that lie flat. While women have the picket fence kind and these fat cells stand up instead of lying flat.

Women are also more prone to cellulite because they have 3 subcutaneous fat layers and not just one, plus they have 9 times more alpha estrogen receptors (which produce fat) than beta receptors (which break down fat).  By building stronger and more flexible connective tissue that holds the fat in, you can disguise this cellulite very well.  Weak connective tissue lacks the strength to stop the fat lobules from poking through the fence. Women without cellulite have stronger and more resilient “picket fences” with some cross linking.

Nothing ‘solves’ cellulite other than good clean foods which build healthy strong and flexible connective tissue. To accomplish this, we need to eat plenty of foods high in collagen and cartilage but these are only found in animal products. If you don’t have any bone broth or collagen in your diet, you will struggle to rid yourself of cellulite. Our ancestors, in their wisdom, did it differently. They regularly ate liver and other organ meats, and also enjoyed broth, soups and stews made from skin, cartilage and bones.

Broth and collagen also helps hydrate us, and dehydration make cellulite appear more prominent than it is. If you don’t enjoy making bone broth and drinking loads daily, just stir my PURE HYDROLYSED COLLAGEN into whatever you are drinking – sit back and marvel at the results. You will find my unique, superior Grass-Fed, Non-GMO, 100% PURE HYDROLYSED COLLAGEN at https://sallyanncreed.co.za/shop.  It is one of the most effective things I’ve ever come across for dealing with this problem.
