A More Focused Formula for Memory, Focus and Cognitive Support
Modern life puts a huge demand on our mental energy. Women navigating menopause often deal with sudden brain fog that makes everyday focus harder. Students preparing for exams face long hours, fatigue, and burnout. And as the years go by, maintaining fast recall and clear thinking becomes central to staying active and independent. We regularly listen to feedback from our community. While our original NeuroBoost worked well for many, we saw an opportunity to refine the formula as science improved. Here's why we updated one of our favourite products, and how the new ingredients offer clearer focus and better stress balance.
Focusing on What Truly Works
Our original recipe consisted of many ingredients. While it offered broad support, real-world experience and the latest herbal research showed us that by removing products, we could actually provide more targeted results. Carrie and the team spent months going over the formulation, finally deciding to remove low-dose herbs and extra stimulants, refining the formula down to five core, powerful nutrients that all work together to create an even more effective NeuroBoost.
What's Different?
To understand the new formula, it helps to look at how ingredient quality has evolved.
| Benefit | Old Formula | New Formula | Why the New Version Works Better |
|---|---|---|---|
| Memory & Stress Resilience | Bacopa monnieri (220 mg unstandardised) | Bacopa monnieri (200 mg, 50% Bacosides) | Standardised extracts provides consistent active compounds studied for memory and stress relief. |
| Nerve & Brain Cell Support | Lion's Mane (100 mg basic extract) | Dual Lion's Mane: 30% Beta-Glucans (150 mg) + 20% Polysaccharides / 4% Erinacines (150 mg) | Two targeted extracts being studied for cognitive and nerve-growth support. |
| Brain Energy & Focus | Alpha-GPC (100 mg) | CDP-Choline (200 mg) | Citicoline provides choline for the synthesis of neurotransmitters (acetylcholine) and phospholipids involved in brain cell membranes, supporting attention, memory and cognitive function. |
| Stress Response & Cellular Health | Phosphatidylserine (120 mg raw) | Phosphatidylserine (70% Concentration) (100 mg) | A higher concentration ensures a defined, consistent amount, a phospholipid involved in brain cell membranes and studied for cognitive function and the response to stress. |
How They Do What They Do
Standardised Bacopa Monnieri (50% Bacosides):
Bacopa monnieri has a long history of traditional use and is now widely studied for its role in memory, learning and cognitive function. Standard raw powder can vary in strength from batch to batch. By using an extract standardised to 50% Bacosides, each capsule delivers a reliable dose of the key active compounds that aid recall and ease tension. This ensures that your body gets as much reliable help as it needs.
Dual-Extract Lion's Mane (Hericium erinaceus):
Lion's Mane is widely recognised for supporting brain cell health. Instead of using generic mushroom powder, we split the dose into two complementary extracts:
- 30% Beta-Glucans: Helps support brain tissue against daily oxidative stress.
- 20% Polysaccharides & 4% Erinacines: Erinacines are being investigated for their ability to cross the blood-brain barrier and their potential role in supporting Nerve Growth Factor (NGF) pathways involved in brain cell growth and survival.
By standardising the extracts, we know much more about the bioactive compounds being delivered than we would with a generic mushroom powder.
CDP-Choline (Citicoline):
We upgraded to Citicoline, an easily absorbed form of choline that helps your body produce acetylcholine, essential for learning and memory. CDP-Choline helps with steady mental clarity for studying or work without relying on caffeine or harsh stimulants.
Higher-Concentration Phosphatidylserine (70%):
Phosphatidylserine (PS) is a structural component of brain cell membranes, helping keep cells flexible for smooth communication and signalling. Using a 70% standardised material gives a defined, consistent amount of phosphatidylserine in every dose. PS has also been investigated for its role in the body's physiological response to stress and stress-related mental fatigue.
What We Left Out (and Why)
We removed Ginseng, Maca, Ginkgo biloba and Sceletium from the previous formulation so that we could build a more focused formula around carefully selected and standardised cognitive-support ingredients. Rather than simply adding a long list of botanicals, the new NeuroBoost focuses on ingredients selected for their roles in memory, learning, attention, neuronal health and the response to stress.
Here's How It Can Help Your Entire Family
- For menopause support: These standardised botanicals and nutrients are formulated to help support mental clarity and everyday focus during a time when brain fog is common.
- For students: Support for calm, consistent concentration during long study sessions, without the caffeine crashes that come with energy drinks or harsh stimulants.
- For healthy aging: Support everyday recall, clear thinking, and long-term neural health with highly bioavailable nutrients.
As you can see, less is sometimes more, and we've chosen 5 highly effective ingredients to make NeuroBoost even more targeted and effective than it was before. If you've been using NeuroBoost for mental support, or been considering it for a student in your life as they start studying for exams, we cannot wait for you to try this new formulation.
