Bicarbonate of Soda

• Can assist with the relief from heartburn / a safe antacid ( mix 1 - 2 tsp bicarbonate of soda in 250ml water, and drink)
• As a baking aid (substitute baking powder for bicarbonate of soda when combine with cream of tartar and a liquid) 
• To freshens breath (mix 1 tsp bicarb in a glass of water, gargle and rinse)Whitens and polishes teeth (Dip your wet toothbrush into a small amount of powder. Gently brush and leave on for 5minutes. Rinse and brush teeth as normal with regular toothpaste. Limit this to once per week)
• Can be used as a natural, non-toxic deodorant (Mix a small amount of powder with water and rub onto armpit region)
• A wonderful gentle exfoliator to help remove dead skin or to pamper your feet with a warm water soak (Use a handful of powder as an exfoliator or add 1 cup to a lukewarm bath for a restorative soak)
• Add to bath water to help relieve skin irritation, sunburn or allergic rashes relief from heartburn (Add 1 cup to a lukewarm bath for a restorative soak)
• Can be used as a cleaning solution for brushes and combs clean (Mix 1 TBSP in a glass of water, soak brushes or combs in water solution for 1-2 hours)
• Remove stubborn stains from floors, sinks & baths without the use of toxic cleaning aids
• Place a small pot in your refrigerator to help deodorize-Soak pots and pans in hot water and bicarbonate of soda for 15 minutes to easily clean away baked on foods
