Collagen is the most abundant protein in the body, making up roughly a third of total protein. While type 1 and type 3 collagen are typically derived from animal hide or skin, type 2 collagen comes from cartilage — our chicken collagen is sourced from the cartilage of chicken breast and sternum. It naturally contains chondroitin and glucosamine, compounds associated with cartilage structure and hyaluronic acid synthesis, which supports joint lubrication and cushioning. Type 2 collagen also provides arginine, glutamine, glycine and proline, linked to circulation, immune function and digestive health.

In joint conditions such as osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, type 2 collagen may help support cartilage and modulate immune response through a process called oral tolerance, which may reduce reactivity to the body's own tissue. This property may also benefit other autoimmune conditions.

For athletes, type 2 collagen's support for joints, mobility and muscle maintenance may aid recovery after exercise.

Dosage & directions for use

Adults: 1-2 scoops per day in water or a hot or cold beverage. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Allergens: None. Packed in a factory that handles fish, nuts & oats (gluten).
