No-Bake Energy Bars

We recently tried these at the office and LOVED THEM! They’re quick, delicious, and healthy filled with our wonderful pantry items. Give them a try and let us know what you think!

What you need

  • 1/2 cup Sally-Ann Creed Pitted dates (firmly pack the cup)
  • 11/2 cups Sally-Ann Creed Rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup Sally-Ann Creed Peanut butter
  • 2 Tbsp Sally-Ann Creed Pure honey
  • 1 Tbsp melted Sally-Ann Creed Organic coconut oil
  • 1 tsp Vanilla essence


  • Desiccated coconut
  • Dark chocolate chips

(If you choose to add extra ingredients, please note you might need to add water to the mixture if it’s too dry)

Let's cook

  1. Line a small baking tin with baking paper (approx. 23x23xcm)
  2. In a bowl, soak your pitted dates in boiling water for about 10 minutes
  3. Drain your dates from the water and add to a blender/food processor along with the rest of the ingredients
  4. Blend in your blender/food processor until all the ingredient are combined
  5. If you have chosen to add more ingredients or you feel as though the mixture is too dry, add water
  6. Scoop your mixture out into your lined tin and press the mixture down firmly with the back of a tablespoon
  7. Pop into the freezer for 30 minutes – 1 hour
  8. Remove from the freezer and cut into bars (whatever size you please)
  9. Store your bars in the freezer or the fridge
