Did you know this about Selenium?

Selenium is important for thyroid function, immunity and powerful cancer preventative nutrient.

It is a mineral, and due to poor farming methods has become very thin on the ground (no pun intended) when it comes to our food supply.
We need to make sure we get enough each day which is around 100-200mcg.
If you have dandruff, you are often short of selenium and essential fats, so this should help with that problem too. It is also a vital co-factor in the conversion of T4 to T3 for the thyroid gland.

Food sources include:

• Tuna, cod, prawns, clams, oysters
• Seafood in general
• Chicken, turkey
• Brazil nuts
• Liver
• Garlic
Supplement Suggestion: Selenium tablets are excellent. The reccomended daily allowance is 55mcg and if you are deficient consider taking a supplement. You will find one at our online store here https://sallyanncreed.co.za/product/selenium-100mcg/
